ChemBridge Corporation provides compound samples on a non-exclusive basis and retains no proprietary rights on compounds purchased by the client. The client will own purchased compound samples and will be free to use them, as well as any idea, invention, improvement, or discovery related to these compounds made by the client in any manner without royalties or any further obligations to ChemBridge Corporation. The client shall indemnify and hold harmless ChemBridge Corporation against any claim resulting from the client's use of compound samples. ChemBridge Corporation makes no representation or warranty to the clients, expressed or implied, in regards to the purchased compound samples, including without limitation any warranty of non-infringement, safety, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Quality Control Terms
100% of products have been subjected to NMR or LC-MS (ELSD Detector) quality control to confirm identity and minimum purity. Spectra interpretation and final approval of each compound are executed by a dedicated group of Ph.D. analytical chemists, and only compounds having confirmed identity and meeting minimum purity requirements are retained. Electronic copies of original NMR or LC-MS spectra for all compounds shipped are available upon request. In addition to analytical QC, ChemBridge's Quality Assurance System includes a state-of-the-art, proprietary sample tracking technology capable of assuring mistake-proof formatting of hundreds of thousands of compounds in any type of vial or plate.
Format & Packaging Terms
ChemBridge offers a range of standard vial and plate formats for dry powder or DMSO formatted compounds. In addition to our standard options, ChemBridge can accommodate a client's custom vials, plates, labels/barcodes, and plating (including multi-set and vial/plate sets) and delivery formats. Please contact ChemBridge for information on any costs associated with custom options.
Compounds are weighed in their original physical form on computerized analytical balances by dedicated, full-time operators. Zebra bar-coding technology is integrated with ChemBridge proprietary sample tracking technology, developed by the ChemBridge cheminformatics department, to assure virtual elimination of human errors at every step of compound handling and packaging.
Returns and Refunds
ChemBridge does not accept any returns and does not give refunds for any order that has been processed.
Electronic Documentation Support Terms
Upon request, each shipment can be accompanied by a full set of documentation in electronic form. Client customization of SD/database fields can also be accommodated. NMR and/or LC-MS spectra/quality control data are included in .tiff or .pdf format. Standard registration data includes:
- MDL SDfile (structure-data file) containing each chemical structure along with the following fields: unique ChemBridge ID number, plate or box ID value, column location, row location, coordinates (column and row locations combined), MW value, amount of compound and additional descriptors
- ISIS/Base .db (database) file containing chemical structure data and the same non-structural fields as the SDfile
- Microsoft Excel spreadsheet that includes all non-structural fields of the SDfile
- ISIS/Base .lst (list) file providing a list of all ChemBridge ID’s in the shipment
Shipping and Payment Terms
Shipments to clients are made either from ChemBridge’s headquarters in San Diego, CA, USA or from ChemBridge’s Moscow, Russia, facility. Shipments from San Diego are made via overnight carrier; shipments from Moscow are made via international carrier. Frozen DMSO shipments are shipped in insulated cartons on dry ice. Shipping, handling, and insurance (S/H/I) charges are the responsibility of the client and are pre-paid by ChemBridge and added to the invoice. Compounds are delivered FCA San Diego, CA, USA, or FCA Moscow, Russia, (INCOTERMS 2000). The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches the destination country. For all orders, the client is fully responsible for paying any customs duties and taxes. Additional charges for customs clearance must be also borne by the recipient; ChemBridge has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; Customers should contact their local Customs Office for further information.
For those clients using custom vials/plates, ChemBridge can order these directly from the vendor and invoice any custom vials or plates to the requesting client. Alternatively, the client may ship to ChemBridge (San Diego or Moscow) all necessary custom vials or plates to fill the order. If shipping directly to ChemBridge's Moscow packaging site, please request specific shipping instructions which must be followed precisely to avoid extra fees and delivery delays.
Terms of payment: Regular net 30 days for established accounts. Partial shipments are invoiced separately. Advanced payment may be required.
